Meet Amanda Parsons, a local Victoria community member and part of the Island Breaststrokers, a dragon boating team that brings together individuals affected by breast cancer through sport, friendship, and shared experiences. 💗

After her own breast cancer diagnosis and journey through treatment and recovery, Amanda found a new sense of belonging through dragon boating.

As part of our CIBC Run for the Cure Victoria community, Amanda is sharing her story, from navigating a diagnosis at a young age to finding confidence, connection, and a new identity through sport.
