There are a lot of myths out there about su***de that perpetuate the stigma and create fear and shame around conversations about su***de.

Learn the facts:
- Open, compassionate, responsible talk about su***de encourages people struggling to seek support.
- When individuals get a chance to talk about their experiences and how they are struggling, thoughts of su***de will diminish.
- Anyone can experience thoughts of su***de.
- When people are struggling with thoughts of su***de, it can be hard to come right out and say it. Sometimes people let others know in more subtle ways, like through jokes.
