During our 25th Anniversary celebrations this past weekend, the Victoria Children's Choir was delighted to share exciting news about our future.

After a competitive National search, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Kimberley-Ann Bartczak as Artistic Director, beginning with the 2026–2027 season.

Kimberley-Ann has been a valued member of the Victoria Children's Choir artistic team for several years, serving as Director of the Recital Choir and Collaborative Artist with the Concert Choir. Through her work with our choristers, families, and staff, she has become a cherished part of our musical community, and we are thrilled to welcome her into this leadership role.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to David Stratkauskas for his years of artistic leadership, dedication, and service to VCC. His contributions have shaped the experience of countless choristers and families, and we wish him every success in his future endeavours.

As we celebrate 25 years of music-making—and with our founder, Madeleine Humer, joining us for this special milestone weekend—we look forward with excitement to the next chapter of the Victoria Children's Choir.

We had such a lovely time with the Toronto Bach Children's Chorus and Bach Chamber Youth Choir in Victoria! Have a look at our blog post on what a wonderful time we had together.
