We raised a whopping $7,794.57 for CFUV 101.9 FM!! This year’s fair had 564 shoppers and was a lot of fun! The VRF extends our heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers, DJs, and our designer – as well as our generous sponsor, Hoyne Brewing. Thanks, Victoria! See you next year!!

We’re excited to announce the next Victoria Record Fair on Saturday, November 1st, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the Fernwood Community Centre. Early entry ($30) is 10:30 AM.

Once again, all the money we raise from table rentals to vendors, public admission fees to the VRF, sales of donated items, as well as other cash donations will be given to charity.

This time we have chosen CFUV 101.9 FM, the University of Victoria’s non-profit community radio, committed to representing the diversity of our cities people, culture, and events.

The VRF are very happy to have raised $7,843.75 for our charity recipients, the Victoria Humane Society ! ❤️

100% of the money paid by vendors for table rentals, all admission from the door, and sales of donated items covered our expenses of the venue, table rentals, as well as liability insurance, (expenses totaling $587.00), leaving a large surplus to donate to the VHS!

Thanks to the vendors who made an extra donation with their table payment, as well as everyone who contributed records to sell at the donations tables.

With our new higher entry price of $5.00, attendance actually grew by approx. 50 people and the money raised from the door increased by almost $1,300 from the previous year.

Thanks to all our fantastic volunteers who helped set up, tear down and keep things running smoothly before, during and after the event. This was the most efficient fair we’ve done so far.

Our awesome DJs, Bill Stuart and Don Chessa generously lent us their time, CFUV 101.9 FM promoted the event, Michael Tension created all our promotional images and Zap Copy printed our posters - all free of charge.

Thanks to all the dealers and attendees, as well as the Fernwood NRG for hosting us.

Our extra special thanks to the following volunteers and helpers: Stephie Spring, Brien Montgomery, Daisy Kler, Bill Stuart, Don Chessa, Allan Lunger, Shamus Bowker, Di Hickman, Emily Truong, Spencer Martin, Jason McCall and kids, Dave Greig, Michael Tension, Jesse Balcom, Simon Bailey, Eric Proulx, Dwayne Sheplawy, plus Penny Stone and the VHS volunteers!
