Attention Kingfisher-area residents & business owners!๐Ÿ“

Join us for a Community Engagement Session on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at the Kingfisher Community Hall.

Since the community stepped up in 2007 to establish the borrowing service area and acquire this beloved school building & grounds, it has been a true community-funded asset.

Now, as we approach the official transition of the asset in 2027, itโ€™s time to plan for what comes next.

Come have your say, connect with neighbors, enjoy some light refreshments, and help build the next chapter for the Kingfisher School & Property!

We request that you RSVP for this event, but walk-ins are welcome too.

After discovering Back Nine, a next-level indoor golf simulator franchise across the border, Neil and Jenna Bestard knew they were onto something that would be appreciated by golfers in Vernon.

The couple set out to open their own Back Nine, and they were feeling confident: Neil knew golf, construction and tech, and Jenna knew fitness, sales and membership.

The biggest piece to figure out was the lending. They landed a meeting with Scot McNair, business analyst, at Community Futures North Okanagan.

โ€œWe knew we had something, and once we got to Scot, things opened upโ€ says Jenna.
