Help Shape the Future of Our Forests 🌲

BC is changing how we manage forests — with a stronger focus on ecosystem health, wildfire resilience, and community well-being.

The Cranbrook Forest Landscape Plan is being co-led by Ktunaxa and Secwépemc leadership, with representatives from Shuswap Band, ʔaq̓am, yaqan nuʔkiy, Yaq̓it ʔa·knuqⱡiʾit First Nation, Ktunaxa Nation Council Society, and the Province of BC.

Forest Landscape Plans will:
✔ Reflect local Indigenous and community values
✔ Guide future forest activities
✔ Support ecosystem health
✔ Strengthen climate and wildfire resilience

We’re in the early planning stage and your input matters.

Take the short survey and let the Steering Committee know how you’d like to be involved.

Survey deadline: February 13, 2026

🚨 ATVBC TRAIL GRANT INTAKE IS OPEN 🚨
Club projects need funding? We’ve got your back. 💪

The ATVBC Trail Development & Maintenance Grant Program was built to support clubs and their incredible volunteers who create and maintain mixed-use trails across BC. Every year, your projects keep our trail systems strong — and we’re here to help make them happen. 🙌

ATVBC’s Annual 50/50 Draw! The more the draw raises, the more funding we can pass directly back to clubs for trail work.

📅 Grant Intake #1 Details:
• Opened: Nov 1
• Closes: Dec 15 @ 5pm PST
• Designed to align with the Provincial ORV Trail Fund so clubs can use ATVBC grants as matching funds for larger projects.

Two application streams:
• Up to $5,000 (Form A)
• Up to $2,000 (Form B)

Trails don’t build themselves, your club could be next in line for support. Let’s keep BC’s trail network strong for everyone. 💙

🚨 OUR TRAILS ARE IN TROUBLE

Canada’s powersport trail network now stretches more than 142,000 kilometres from coast to coast — connecting communities, boosting tourism, and giving riders unforgettable adventures.

But our trails are under pressure:
⚠️ Access to land is shrinking
⚠️ Funding is falling short
⚠️ New rules are adding barriers

If we don’t act now, future generations could lose access to these incredible routes.

We’re asking the Federal Government and all key partners to come together for a National Trail Strategy that will:
✅ Invest in trail infrastructure
✅ Keep access open
✅ Protect riding for decades to come

📢 Lend your voice and share this message.
