Today, the Centre was filled with love, laughter, and tears of joy as the children celebrated their mothers in the most heartfelt way. Through handwritten poems, handmade gifts, and warm embraces, they expressed their deep appreciation for their mothers.
With the loving guidance of Marie-Colette, the Centre’s leader, and Charles, our dedicated nurse at the Botiquín, every mother was honoured, remembered, and made to feel truly special.
While some smiles were shy, and tears could not be held back, every moment conveyed the same message: you are loved, you are appreciated, and you are never unseen.

❤️To all the brave, resilient, and endlessly loving mothers in our community, Happy Mother’s Day. Your strength and love shape the hearts of these children every single day.❤️

(Français)Aujourd’hui, le Centre débordait d’amour, de rires et de larmes de joie alors que les enfants rendaient hommage à leurs mères avec une sincérité sans pareille. À travers des poèmes écrits à la main, des bricolages et des gestes chaleureux, ils ont exprimé toute leur gratitude à leurs mamans.

Grâce aux soins attentionnés de Marie-Colette, la responsable du Centre, et de Charles, notre infirmier dévoué au Botiquín, chaque maman a été célébrée, mise à l’honneur et s’est sentie vraiment unique.
Si certains sourires étaient timides et que les larmes ne pouvaient être retenues, chaque instant transmettait le même message : vous êtes aimées, vous êtes appréciées et vous n’êtes jamais ignorées.

🌟Aujourd’hui est un jour très spécial pour la Fondation Pure Art. Nous célébrons le deuxième anniversaire de l’inauguration officielle du Centre pour le développement humain de Santa Maria de la Esperanza.
Ce qui a commencé il y a plus de dix ans sur un simple lopin de terre rouge — une vision nourrie d’espoir — s’est transformé en une initiative véritablement vivante.
Aujourd’hui, ce centre dynamique propose des programmes de santé, un dispensaire médical, des activités parascolaires par le biais du Commedore, le programme Mango, une garderie et un atelier de couture. C’est un lieu d’accueil, d’apprentissage et riche en opportunités.
Ce centre dynamique et vivant existe non seulement grâce à la générosité de nos donateurs, mais aussi au dévouement de nos bénévoles, aux efforts inlassables de Marie-Colette et de son incroyable équipe, ainsi qu’au soutien continu des Missionnaires de l’Immaculée Conception (MIC).

💛✨Today marks a very special day for the Pure Art Foundation. We are celebrating the 2-year anniversary of the official inauguration of the Centre for Human Development of Santa Maria de la Esperanza.

What began over a decade ago on a simple plot of red earth—a mere vision held with hope—has blossomed into something truly alive. Today, this vibrant centre offers a wide range of services, including health programs, a medical dispensary, after-school education through the Commedore and the Mango Program, a daycare, and a sewing centre. It is a place of care, learning, and opportunity.

The success of this living, breathing hub is a testament to the generosity of our donors, the dedication of our volunteers, the tireless efforts of Marie-Colette and her incredible team, and the ongoing support of the Missionaries of the Immaculate Conception (MIC).

Une nouvelle année scolaire commence à Pucallpa, au Pérou — et nos cœurs débordent de gratitude. 💛
Grâce aux efforts inlassables de Marie-Colette et de nos incroyables coordinateurs sur le terrain, les enfants du primaire et du secondaire font leur rentrée équipés de nouveaux uniformes, de fournitures scolaires et de grands rêves.
Depuis 15 ans, notre programme « Une école pour tous » est la pierre angulaire de la mission de la Fondation Pure Art — prouvant à maintes reprises que l’éducation change tout.
Rien de tout cela ne serait possible sans vous. Votre générosité donne à ces élèves les outils, la confiance et l’espoir nécessaires pour façonner leur propre avenir.

Fresh Paint, Warm Visits at Pure Art Homes

✨ Sometimes a week feels like not enough to get everything done, but it’s in those moments that magic happens. Our volunteers come together with hearts full of willingness, ready to do whatever it takes to help. When local children join in to repaint a Pure Art home built in 2019 for a mother in a wheelchair, you witness the incredible power of community and teamwork.
In just one day, Mery’s house received a fresh coat of paint—a small act with a considerable impact.
Visiting families is always a highlight, as we see the transformation—the spark in their eyes as they share how a Pure Art home has helped them move forward, whether by opening a small store at the entrance or upgrading their homes with proper windows, cement facades, kitchens, stoves, and fridges.
It’s in these small moments that we see true hope and community spirit come alive.

The CAST (Construct A Structure Today) program is part of the Pure Art Foundation’s mission to help alleviate poverty by providing safe and dignified shelter. We believe that a stable home is essential for families living in extreme poverty, providing a foundation for their children to thrive despite ongoing challenges.
With the unwavering commitment of our devoted volunteers, we have proudly built 42 homes in the Manantay area of Pucallpa. Just last week, 33 compassionate volunteers came together to build and paint a new home — a sanctuary that brings hope and protection to a family facing hardship.
The images tell a powerful story: from humble beginnings to a radiant yellow home filled with promise. We arrived with a purpose and left deeply touched, carrying with us memories that will endure forever.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all the volunteers whose hands and hearts made this possible.
