Content. Yasin (born 1985) is a Graduate Political Science and International Relations University of British Columbia. He is Vancouver based Political Scientist, Public Relations and Human Rights Consultant. He is the president and Founder of Ubuntu Peoples’ Liberation Movement, Front Line Public Relations and Communications International
and Ubuntu Human Rights International. He founded Bring back our girls in Vancouver, a Human Rights Group dedicated for campaign awareness for against to promote Democracy, justice, freedom, liberty, teaching, promoting and defending Human Rights, using the United Nations Declarations for Human Rights. Yasin, is a leader, mentor and community activist and organizer. He is expert in public speaking, campaign and mediation and communication
Yasin is the Founder and President United Black Canadian Community Association, an organization registered to promote cordial relations among Black Canadian and restoration of a Black Community at Hogan’s Alley in Vancouver that was destroyed in 1970 during the Construction of Viaduct. We need to restore the Black Community that can promote and represent the interest of all Black and Canadian of African Descent in General. UNIVERSITY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA. Kiraga has immersed himself in the local community, contributing to STAND UBC, UBC Africa Awareness Initiative, and the Canadian Red Cross Society. He was a member of BC Young Liberals as a party member at UBC. He hopes to pursue a career in International Law to address human rights issues and continue to serve the communities around him
In his years at UBC, Yasin was heavily involved in extra-curricular activities. He was a member of the Africa Awareness Initiative, a member of World University Service of Canada, an active member of Stand UBC, a panellist with Minister Mobina Jaffer on refugee issues. On top of all this, Yasin was a broadcaster UBC’s CITR radio station, hosting a program called “Sounds of Africa” where he was an investigative journalist, interviewer, and raised funds for CITR. Political Career. Yasin joined politics at the University of British Columbia, and became active member of BC Young Liberals. He has worked with great Canadian Politician and assumed leadership roles in their Campaigns. Currently, (2014) Yasin is on the Tax force and campaign team that seek nominations for Constance Barnes (Commissioner for Vancouver Park board) for Member of Parliament. He is the Campaign Leader of Bring Our Girls Back in BC, a grass root awareness campaign for abduction of Nigerian Girls. Yasin, has met with famous Human Rights activist both local and international.
