Michael Smuss, the last known living fighter from the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, has passed away at 99.
Born in Danzig and forced into the ghetto as a child, he risked his life smuggling letters, crafting Molotovs, and joining the underground fight against N**i tyranny.
He survived the camps, escaped a death march, and later rebuilt his life in Israel—spending his final decades speaking to students and leaders about Jewish resistance and courage.

“I thank God for saving me… so I could tell people what happened,” he once said.
And he did—again and again, until his final days.

🕯 May his story continue to light our way.
