An orange shirt can remind us to pause. The stories behind it deserve more than one day of our attention.

Today, we invite you to spend time with Indigenous voices and resources, and to keep listening and learning beyond September 30. 🧡

A home begins to feel different when there is somewhere to rest, share a meal or simply sit together.

For many people beginning a new chapter, those everyday comforts can feel out of reach. The Sustainability Circle is a way for our community to stand beside them and make that transition feel a little less overwhelming.

Because creating a sense of home should never be something a person has to do alone. 💚

Our first Annual Sustainability Report is here. 🌱

Full Circle tells the story of Furnish Forward’s first year: the furniture we rescued, the homes we helped furnish, and what we learned along the way.

Together, we saved 193 furniture items, diverted 8,685 kg from landfill, and supported 27 households. Behind every number is a piece of furniture given another life and a person making a home.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this first year possible. 💚

Moving into a home is an important beginning, but making it feel settled can take time.

Having a comfortable place to rest, share meals and spend time together can bring routine, comfort and a sense of belonging.

If furniture costs are making that difficult for you or someone you know, please reach out. Our team will guide you through the process with care and respect. 💚

Furnish Forward was at the Vancouver Farmers Markets at Kitsilano, connecting with community members and sharing how furniture reuse can reduce waste while helping families across Metro Vancouver turn empty spaces into homes.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, shared their stories and learned more about Furnish Forward. Every conversation helps build a community where good furniture is treated as a valuable resource and not waste.

A special thank you to Vancouver Farmers Markets for welcoming us and giving local organizations a space to connect with the community.

Introducing the Furnish Forward Sustainability Circle 🌿

$1 a month may feel small. But when our contributions come together, they can create two kinds of impact: keeping good furniture out of landfills and helping more families furnish their homes.

Start with $1 a month. Give more if you can. Every monthly contribution helps us collect, move and redistribute furniture where it is needed.

Join the Sustainability Circle through the link in our bio and be part of the change.
