Thank you to Mariette, Lauren, Jess, and the Vancouver Holocaust Centre for presenting at our inaugural Holocaust and Antisemitism Educators Association Prod in Vancouver (Friday) and Richmond (Monday). This was an incredibly meaningful and powerful day of learning! Thank you to every educator that came from near and far to take part in this important day of learning. It was a tremendous success. By success we mean educators walked away with knowlege on what it means to be a Jewish person, what is the history of antisemitism and what does it look like now, (Jess Burke), we listened to powerful first hand Holocaust survival testimony from Mariette Doduck with support from the wonderful historian, Lauren Rossi Faulkner, and ended the day with a visit from the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre engaging educators on what VHEC can offer to our schools with regards to student learning around the Holocaust and antisemitism.
It was a full day in all the ways. And we are so grateful for it. Thank you and looking forward to the next opportunity to engage educators around BC in this important work! Thank you to all who participated!

HAEA partnered with the BC Social Studies Teachers Association at the Global Affairs Professional Development Conference on Oct. 25 at UBC. We provided workshops and an exhibit table and both were well-attended. Thanks to all those who participated!
