Our sensory experiences shape how we interact with the world around us. 🌎

Sensory processing looks different for everyone. Some people may notice sensory input more intensely, while others may need more sensory input to feel comfortable, regulated, and engaged.

Understanding sensory profiles helps us move beyond “behaviour” and recognize the unique ways people experience and navigate their environments.

Many parents and guardians ask us this question when they're looking for reading support.

In this short video, we explain why there isn't a one-size-fits-all answer. While Orton-Gillingham is a well-established, evidence-based approach, it's one of several structured literacy approaches informed by the science of reading.

The goal isn't to fit every learner into the same program, it's to find the approach that best fits the learner.

Starting your first job? It’s normal to feel nervous.

Workflow for Youth is designed for young people ages 15-21 with a diagnosed or suspected learning difference who are looking to enter the workforce. As a participant, you’ll:

🤝 Learn how to self-advocate in the workplace
📝 Get support with resumes, cover letters, and interviews
😊 Build a network of like-minded neurodivergent peers
💼 Leave with an employment portfolio to support your job search

Groups are small (max 6 learners), and the program runs for 12 sessions on Thursdays from 5:45–7:15pm.
