uced Where Have All The Lightning Bugs Gone? in conjunction with the SHIFT theatre 1-Act Festival at The Cultch in June. The show was remounted as part of the Victoria Fringe Festival in August 2013. In November, This Might Feel Like Home, a Verbatim theatre piece created through interviews with residents of Mount Pleasant, was curated and produced at Mount Pleasant Neighborhood House. It was funded by Mount Pleasant’s Neighborhood Small Grants Program. Paper Dreams, a puppet play and star star theatre’s fourth production, finished off our first year as a theatre company. We held the inaugural star star PARTY PARTY in December 2014, our annual holiday cabaret and dance party. We presented Andy Garland’s A-Grade independently in April 2015, then remounted the play at the Gabriola Theatre Festival in August. We developed and produced a reading of Anja Savcic’s new memory play, Born In A Country That No Longer Exists, at the rEvolver Festival in May. We presented Pornography by Simon Stephens as part of the Dramatic Works Series at the Vancouver Fringe, where it received sold out houses and great reviews from both the Georgia Straight and PLANK Magazine. In 2016, we collectively created Kolejka, a puppet show based on a communist board game for the 2016 rEvolver Festival. This is a project that we hope to tour. Over the summer, WILD/SOCIETY did a cross-Canada Fringe circuit. 2017 brings a new puppet show, Sticks + Bones, to the prairies for another Fringe adventure.
