The annual Melvin Jones Fellows Appreciation Gala swung into action on March 12th (Thursday)! 🎉 We were honored to have Keynote Speaker Fabricio Oliveira, IPIP/LCIF Chairperson, share inspiring words. Huge shoutout to Lions members from District L & O for showing up big 💪, and to our dignitaries for making it a night to remember. And a massive THANK YOU to all donors - together, we raised an incredible $75,300 for LCIF 🙏!"

District Governor Teresa's visit to I7 Zone Meeting with Past District Governor Rita Fok. It was a pleasure to induct three members for Nanoose Bay Lions Club, joined by representatives from Nanoose Bay Lions Club, Nanaimo Lions Club, Nanaimo Hub Lions Club, Gabriola Island Lions Club, and Parksville Lions Club.

DG Teresa’s vistation :A visit to Nanoose Bay was followed by a meeting at Willow Point Lions, which was attended by Baynes Sound Lions, Black Creek Lions, Comox Valley Lions, Gold River Lions, and Qualicum Bay Lions. Thanks are due to Zone Chair Maureen for arranging the meeting and showcasing the clubs' remarkable services.

Tonight, Vancouver Cathay New Century hosted a dual celebration, commemorating Vancouver Cathay's early lunar new year dinner and welcoming Charisse, our newest Vancouver Leo member, inducted by DG Teresa Ng, accompanied by Queenie Chik and two others.

DG Teresa would like to extend her gratitude to PP Alec for the photo and their club's warm hospitality. Although Vancouver East is a small club, it is impressive to see the amount of service they provide and their consistent support for other clubs' events. DG Teresa was pleased to present the Monarch Chevron to members, with the exception of Lion Renzo, who was unable to attend today as he received his 60-year Chevron. 👏👏👏
