Greetings Clubs of District 19L
2026 represents the 80th Anniversary of our club serving Nanaimo. We will be celebrating by holding an event called “Celebrating Community” August 22nd at Maffeo Sutton Park (10am – 2pm).
At this event we are inviting groups and organizations that we supported over the years, to have a table at the park to feature their programs and services. This would be a free event for participants and the community. There will be music (Wellington Jazz Academy, Lion Valdy and Fiddelium), food trucks, cheque presentations and much more.
If your club would like to attend, and set up a display, please let us know by June 30th. If you do not want to attend as a club, we invite you to attend the event if you are in our area on August 22nd.
