The Vancouver Desis Cricket League 2026 came to an end yesterday, and honestly, it’s more than just a tournament for us now. Over the past two years, we’ve seen this group grow from people who didn’t know each other to a community that shows up, supports, competes, and celebrates together 🙌

Huge shoutout to everyone who participated—your sportsmanship, energy, and spirit made this league what it is today 🔥

We casually told him:
“League is coming back on April 12 & 19.”

He casually replied:
“I can’t make it bro.”

That’s when things escalated.

Two more people showed up to help him “reconsider”.

Next thing you know… he’s in the car on the way to the cricket ground.

Anyway, Vancouver Desis Cricket League 2026 is back.

Something strange happened last night.
Around 20 people showed up to a gym, running around, chasing a tiny white object like their lives depended on it.
There was shouting.
There were dramatic dives.
Someone argued for 3 minutes about whether the shuttle was in or out.
At one point, a man celebrated like he had just won the Olympics… after scoring one point.
Security was almost called.

Anyway…

none of this has anything to do with the video above.

But if you do want to see similar chaos, we meet every Tuesday and Saturday to play badminton 🏸
