💗 Patella Luxation: He currently has grade 1 patellar luxation, which doesn’t require surgery, but it would be good to keep an eye on it and manage it with care (no jumping, no stairs).

BEHAVIOUR
💗Good with men: He is friendly even with strangers and gets along well with anyone.
💗Good with women: Yes he loves all kind people.
💗Good with dogs: He may bark with excitement when meeting a new dog for the first time, so it’s best to introduce them slowly.
💗Good with cats: He had no chance to meet cats yet.
💗Good with kids: He had no chance to meet kids yet, but when observing his attitude to adults, he will have no issue with kids.

💗Any other info: He walks very well on a leash and is friendly with everyone, always wanting attention. He doesn’t particularly enjoy baths and tries to get out of the tub, but it’s not a serious issue.

Hello I’m Mambo! (Pronounced Mombo) 🧸 I’m a little corgi mix who is utterly ear-resistible! Those giant floppers aren’t just for looks (though let’s be honest, they’re ridiculously cute). They help me hear the treat bag open, the squeak of a toy, and the sound of your heart saying, “This is my dog.” ❤️

Dain is a 7 month old long-dog! We have no idea what breed she is but we figure she may have some dachshund in her due to her long body and so we decided to take her in and find her a home 🏡

BEHAVIOUR:
🌷Good with men: Yes, she had stayed at a dog-friendly café after being rescued from a shelter. She was able to meet various types of people there with no issues
🌷Good with women: Yes she loves all people.
🌷Good with dogs: She had stayed at a dog-friendly café and got along with all dogs.
🌷Good with cats: She had no chance to meet cats yet, but looking at her personality, she will be fine with cats.
🌷Good with kids: Yes there was a few kid guests at the café and she had no troubles with them.
🌷Potty trained: She is p*e pad trained now and needs to learn to potty outside still!

With Other Dogs: Varies by dog. She tends to establish her dominance. She doesn’t bite, but she does tend to bark and lunge when she sees other dogs. She spent the last year in a city shelter, and she’ll likely be fine with dogs if given time and patience to adjust gradually to calm and friendly dogs. She will benefit from working with a trainer on her reactivity. If you scroll to the comments, there is video of her with another dog who she got accustomed to at the vet clinic.

We are open to a foster-to-adopt arrangement for SomSom as we understand why people are hesitant. This arrangement allows a family two weeks to decide if he is a fit for your family.

Good with dogs: She now has 7 fur mates at the foster and gets along well with all of them.
Good with cats: unknown - we will NOT home Leanna to a home with a cat
Good with kids: Yes she loves kids. Her initial foster family has a kid.
Potty trained: She is p*e pad trained but prefers to go potty outside.
Crate trained: She is not asked to be crated at the foster, but she sometimes likes to be in a crate when taking a nap. She is not distructive so being left alone home free roaming, she should have no issues.

Leanna gets along well with all fur mates, no matter big or small. When she plays outside with dogs, she becomes more active.

She is pretty good at jumping. She is able to jump over the height of a baby gate…so this is what adopters may need to watch out for.

She has always been around other dogs and never been alone, so the adoption wish is for her to have a fur sibling.

Hi I’m SomSom 🩶 I am a double dapple dachshund who is looking for a special home. Please make sure you look up what a double dapple means before applying and read this post.

A double dapple dachshund is a result of breeding two dapple dachshunds together, resulting in a coat pattern with large patches of white and dappled accents, and often, blue eyes.

Breeding double dapple dachshunds can lead to health problems, including hearing and vision impairments, and even missing or “micro” eyes. For reasons unclear, the double dapple gene tends to bring down both the lifespan and the overall health of the dog. A reputable breeder will never breed two dapples together.
