Palpung Foundation Canada The aims of the foundation is to provide financial support for the activities of Palpung Sherabling Monastery.

The objectives are
• to preserve the Tibetan culture, language and Buddhist way of life
• provide opportunities for noble monks/nuns in their aspirations to serve others
• give monks/nuns a better education and livelihood
• free medical and optical care for the poor

The monastery provides
* school for monks
* trainning for Buddhist rituals


* monastic institute of higher Buddhist studies
* facility for Buddhist teachings for lay-practitioners
* retreat centers for monks/nuns and lay-practitioners
* Kamtsang Yeshi Rabgyeyling nunnery in Kullu
* Tibetan Medical and Astrology school
* free Tibetan and Western medical clinics
* free optical care for eye operations, glasses and check-ups in surrounding areas annually
