The Gathering Place

16/10/2026

Behind every meal served at The Gathering Place is so much more than food.

The reality is that keeping our doors open takes more than donated ingredients and helping hands. It takes a community coming together to make it possible.

🎯 We've set an ambitious $15,000 fundraising goal for our upcoming Laughter Heals Comedy Night on November 3!

But this is about more than one night.

As we head into Giving Season, we're inviting North Bay and surrounding communities to help us keep doing what we do best: serving our neighbours.

TWO WAYS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

🎤 COME FOR THE LAUGHS! Stand-Up Comedy
Join us on November 3 at the Nipissing University Student Union for an evening of stand-up comedy from Laughter Heals, supporting The Gathering Place.

🎟️ Tickets are $30:

Please spend a moment to welcome and follow Equity Inclusion North Bay We are happy to get to know the carrying individuals who are passionate about turning this charity into something much larger. Much like our own organization; they simply want to fill an equity gap that keeps on growing. The first step is access to food because FOOD is LIFE 🍎

Is there a way you can individually support their mission and help it grow? Helping can come in many forms including a simple ‘like’ ‘follow’ and ‘reshare’ !
