Due to an electrical safety concern, everyone in buildings F, G, H, L and K at Fanshawe's London Campus (1001 Fanshawe College Blvd.) is advised to evacuate immediately.

People in other buildings should avoid the area but may remain on campus. London Hydro will be on scene shortly to investigate a hydro issue. Updates will be provided by email and on social media channels.

If you are already on campus, drop by The Out Back Shack! We are open today through Friday at 11:00 a.m. each day.

Regular hours (Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) resume on Tuesday, September 8.

Campus Security Services is warning all new and returning students at Fanshawe College about a scam involving party bus events.

These events are not affiliated with the FSU or Fanshawe College and are being promoted by individuals or organizations falsely claiming to represent student groups. These scams have resulted in students in several cities purchasing tickets for a bus that never arrived.

Today is National Rock, Paper, Scissors Day. The game is believed to have originated as far back as 206 BC. However, the game's most important moment was only about a year ago, when Fanshawe students participated in a Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament.

Fuel Esports kicked off another year of competition with a Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament. Almost every Monday night, there will be a Game Night in Forwell Hall in the SUB, starting at 6:00 p.m. Upcoming Game Nights include Super Smash Bros. (September 8) and Chess (September 15).

We are looking for student volunteers to help out at The Sharing Shop. If you are a full-time Fanshawe College student in Fall 2026 and can dedicate 1-2 hours per week for the whole semester, you are encouraged to apply for this volunteer position!

Responsibilities:
- Supporting students while accessing The Sharing Shop
- Assisting with The Sharing Shop related events (e.g. Collective Kitchen)
- Processing incoming donations and inventory
- Opening and closing duties
- Light cleaning and organizing

Requirements:
- Adept with Excel
- Ability to follow instructions
- Can communicate effectively
- Able to lift twenty pounds
