Canadian Cyber Defence Challenge An annual event that helps Canadian high school students hone their skills in the areas of IT and security.

The Canadian Cyber Defence Challenge (CCDC) is a competition that promotes the study and awareness of Information Technology (IT) and Security in schools across Manitoba and Canada. The competition is open to high school students grade 9–12 with an appetite for computers or a thirst to learn. Challenge Overview:
The Canadian Cyber Defence Challenge is designed to help and inspire the next generati

on of students to develop an interest in and love for Information Technology and Computer Science. Students who participate in The Challenge will gain vital academic and life skills, including time management, goalsetting, teamwork, ethics and communications. Besides being fun and a great way to socialize with peers, The Challenge provides students with hands-on training to develop key IT foundation skills such as networks, servers, and security! When and Where:
--When: May 16th, 2017
--Where: RBC Convention Centre
