Location - East Central Alberta

2 sister rottweilers for rehoming. They are 3 and 2 years old. Great with kids, and other dogs, full of love. Would like to keep them together if at all possible. They were taken in under certain circumstances, but they just need to find their forever home(s) and be given all the love they need.

Kerri is the owner right now as the breeder asked her to take in the dogs. The breeder has provided permission for Kerri to find them suitable homes. The breeder does not want the dogs back. NO we don't know the breeder.

These two girls are NOT spayed. They would need to be spayed by whomever takes them in. Not certain is asking a fee for rehoming. Again please contact Kerri for further information.

Hello everyone, not sure if I can post to rehome my dog here. Her name is Lyla and she is 3 years old. I need to rehome her due to circumstances in life.

She is good with other dogs, cats and kids. Loves to go to the dog park and play fetch with a stick or a ball. She is current on all vaccinations and spayed. She is house trained also. Kindly message me if anyone would like to see her. I am sad to see her go.

Medical Status:
Rza is fully vetted. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. When he arrived he weighed approximately 53 kg and is currently on a managed diet to bring him to a healthier working weight.

Dog Socialization:
Rza has demonstrated appropriate behaviour with smaller dogs and is generally dog-social when introduced properly. He has not shown aggression toward larger females. Continued structured interactions with stable dogs are recommended.

Behavioural Notes:
Rza benefits from structure, clear leadership, and routine. When he is “working,” he is very focused and engaged, offering strong eye contact and remaining responsive even with environmental distractions present.

He can become overstimulated by certain environmental triggers. Televisions and vehicle rides can increase his arousal level and require management. With consistent handling and continued training, these triggers can be worked on and improved.

Rza does not particularly enjoy his feet being handled; desensitization work is currently being done on a regular basis.

Handling Recommendations:
Best suited to an experienced handler familiar with the breed who can provide consistent structure, mental engagement, and continued training.

Additional Notes:
Rza has a dietary sensitivity to chicken.

We are looking to rehome Maize, a 3-year-old female born on November 25, 2022. Pure bred Rottweiler. She was originally from a breeder on Vancouver Island, and we took her in to help a family friend who was unable to care for her.

Since moving to SW Calgary, we have realized that our busy family and limited property are not the right fit for her needs. As well the owner fell through once again, failing to take her back.
Maize is a loving dog who is already spayed and currently eats Pure Balance dry food. She has a high energy level, loves to play fetch, and gets along well with other dogs.

However, she does have some specific needs:

- Training: She is still quite difficult to walk on a leash and requires continued work on her manners.
- Anxiety: She suffers from separation anxiety and is always exceptionally enthusiastic when greeted upon return.
- Environment: We believe she would thrive with an active family, ideally on a farm or a property with plenty of space where she can be properly exercised and trained.

Our goal is to find Maize a stable, loving home where she can receive the time and attention she deserves while she is still young. Please let us know if you or someone you know might be a good fit.
