Let's be honest, because you deserve it: the climate movement and its leaders have been consistently inconsistent and ineffective. 💨

explains the need to address the hyper-politicization, ideological purity, and lack of focused organization on climate issues (that are de facto objective, not partisan) rampant within "green spaces" and advocacy.

And we need to confront these issues, together, with patience and understanding in order to work beyond political factions... towards SUCCESS 🌲🇨🇦🌱🌊

These are cultural problems that, if and only when addressed, can improve 💪

Bringing Zain Home to Canada means more than purely righting a wrong deportation and reuniting a family, it means being focused and consistent in our values. ☮️🕊️🦚

🛢️ , human rights lawyer, was punished for revealing the truth about Chevron's intentional dumping of toxic waste into the Amazon, poisoning and killing the Indigenous people and the 'lungs of the Earth'. Over 20 years later, he is still dealing with the repercussions of insidious and vengeful corporate power wielded for profits in a sunset industry. 🌄

🪚 .43 - and his wife, - was punished for peacefully protesting the destruction of the last old-growth forests in Canada, even after the government promised to save these ancient forests... and then broke their OWN promise. He and his wife were forcibly separated when Zain was deported to Pakistan, and now Sophia is forced to choose between being in her home, Canada, or with her husband, Zain. 💔

🕊️ Sometimes standing up for life and for truth takes sacrifice. It's up to ordinary people (like you!) to voice support for climate defenders.

My husband Zain was DEPORTED from Canada for his nonviolent CLIMATE ACTIVISM by the Canada Border Services Agency ( ), an agency which has NO OVERSIGHT BODY and has literally had thousands of cases of unethical treatment of migrants, women, indigenous people, and a toxic workplace culture.

Zain is explicitly nonviolent, married to me, a Canadian, and had a former Minister STOP his deportation in the past.... Yet the CBSA TARGETED Zain for his political activism and set a PRECEDENT IN CANADA FOR DEPORTING CLIMATE ACTIVISTS.

THIS IS WHY OVER 4,000 PEOPLE SIGNED THE PETITION TO REUNITE US IN CANADA.

I am shocked at the mixture of incompetence and/or malice towards Zain on both bureaucratic and personal levels. It is UNETHICAL that the CBSA would pursue Zain's deportation despite having a MINISTER previously stop the deportation in the first place!

We have been very patient and gone through all the "official" procedures to addressing the unethical deportation of Zain. I have lived in Karachi, Pakistan, to be with him for over 6 months in the last year.

I have spent 6 over months living where my husband grew up: Karachi, Pakistan. Zain was deported for his nonviolent climate activism in Canada!

I understand now where Zain’s conviction towards protecting nature and people comes from.
