🥏 Playing In My Shoes returns Sunday, May 24 for its 4th year! Led by Dion Eden!

Playing In My Shoes helps people better understand what life can be like for someone living with a disability through inclusive and accessible disc golf experiences.

🌎 With 40 locations across Canada and 2 in Washington State, PIMS is now international.

A different era of BC disc golf. 👇

No big crowds.

No polished fairways.

No social media clips.

Just people who genuinely loved the game showing up and throwing.

Dave “Hank” Stropky ( #25070) hits the ace on QE Hole 9 back in 2004,

while Peter ‘Pete’ Lizotte — uncle of the famous Simon Lizotte

stands in the background.

Pete was part of that era and helped shape the culture around the game long before it exploded in popularity.

Rest in peace Pete and thank you for everything you and your friends did

After 9 events across the province, we’re excited to celebrate this year’s Duck Golf series champions.

Thursday April 30 the BC Disc Golf Association was honored to set up baskets at Stanely Park for the 2026 PHE National Conference.

The PHE is a premier national event that brings together physical and health education teachers, physical activity leaders, and sector experts to support our collective goal of all children and youth in Canada living healthy, physically active lives.

We set up a learn to play and had a great time meeting attendees from across Canada, talking about Disc Golf and other sports.

Our first grant in years!

This is a big one for disc golf in BC.

Through viaSport’s Hosting BC program,

we secured $1500 to support Provincials this October.

Real support going into the ground

toilets, signage, the details that actually make events run right.

This isn’t just funding.

It’s momentum.

Huge thank you to board member Brett Wells for pushing this through and making it happen.

These wins don’t just appear

someone has to go get them.
