Hello Members,

If you would like vacation between May 2 and September 30 you need to submit your requests to your manager/supervisor before March 1.

That means before midnight on Saturday February 28

Please make sure your request includes ALL the days you need - including your days off

One more reminder about bargaining committee and executive positions which we will vote on - if necessary -at our April GM. Date to be determined. If you are interested - please return your nomination forms by Monday, March 9.

The two-year terms for President, Treasurer, Associate Treasurer and Chief Stewards in both CGY and EDM will expire.

If you are interested in knowing what these positions entail please reach out to a member of the executive for details.

We will be looking for 2 people from CGY and 2 people from EDM to join this committee.

We are having our next General Membership meeting on Tues Jan. 20.

Meeting times are 1:15p and 7:30p
ZOOM invites are in your work email

2 items of note:

In April, the two-year terms for President, Treasurer, Associate Treasurer and Chief Stewards in both CGY and EDM will expire.
If you are interested in knowing what these positions entail please reach out to a member of the executive for details.

Our CBA will expire on December 31, 2026 so we will need to get a bargaining team together.

The president is an automatic member and since I live in CGY - Dawn - the VP in EDM is also an automatic member.

Hello Members,

It is time for another membership meeting.

Please earmark Wednesday May 7 for our next general membership meeting.

We will meet at 1:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. over ZOOM – invite will be sent closer to the date and you only need to attend one of those meetings.

Also a reminder, there are positions that are coming up for renewal. These are two-year terms.

The positions are VP Calgary, VP Edmonton, Secretary CGY and Secretary EDM

We have nomination forms ready to go so if you are interested please reach out to a member of the executive:

Hello Members,

We will be having a General Membership meeting on Wednesday, January 29th.
As usual there will be 2 meetings – 1:15pm and 7:30pm.
Please watch your work email for the ZOOM invites and a reminder you only need to attend one of them.
This is the meeting where we will do our $500 draw – one winner from each city.
You must attend the January 29 meeting in order to win the money – the draw also includes those who attended our meetings in May 2024 & October 2024 – so you may have multiple chances to win.

A couple other reminders.
Please check your pay stubs this Friday January 18 to ensure you have received the 2% raise took effect January 1, 2025. If you don’t see it you will need to use the Ask HR tool.

The vacation submission deadline for anyone wanting to take vacation from May 1 to September 30, 2025 – you need to have those requests into your manager or supervisor before March 1 so that means deadline day is FRIDAY FEBRUARY 28, 2025.
