📣 Big News in Oral Health Care! 🦷✨
Today, Terry Beech, Minister of Citizens' Services; Mark Holland, Minister of Health; Seamus O'Regan Jr., Minister of Labour and Seniors; and Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Public Services and Procurement, joined forces to make a groundbreaking announcement on oral health care. 🌐👏
Recognizing the vital role oral health plays in our overall well-being, they introduced the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) to address a critical issue—currently, one-third of Canadians lack dental insurance. 💬
The DAC, represented by our 1st Vice-President, Daniel Léveillé, and The DAC's Executive Director, Mallory Potter, were honoured as invited guests alongside representatives from other oral health care associations. We witnessed this historic moment in Ottawa today.
