The BC SPCA is honouring National Truth and Reconciliation Day by closing all its locations on Wednesday, September 30. This is in recognition of the history of residential schools in Canada and their impacts on Indigenous Peoples. The Society will also be ‘going quiet’ across all social media channels to respect and create space for Indigenous voices.

🐾 Meet Edith — the sweetest little cuddle bug! ❤️
Edith may look a little different, but she certainly doesn’t let that stop her from being a professional snuggler! 🥰

This special girl was found as a stray in distress, and while we may never know what she’s been through, Edith has shown us just how sweet, resilient, and loving she can be.

Edith has some mild neurological symptoms, including a slight tremor, an adorable head tilt, and some funny-looking eyes that give her a truly unique appearance. But trust us—those funny eyes are attached to an even funnier-sized heart! 💕 Edith is an absolute love bug who loves climbing into your lap, settling in close, and making biscuits while soaking up all the affection she can get.

She is a little timid and can be easily startled by loud or unexpected noises, so Edith would love a calm, quiet home where she can take things at her own pace. She may need a little time to feel comfortable, but once she trusts you, get ready for all the cuddles!
If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind kitty with a whole lot of love to give, Edith might just be your girl. 🥹❤️ She’s quirky, adorable, snuggly, and completely deserving of a family who will love her exactly as she is.

Come meet Edith and prepare to fall in love! 🐱💕

We are open Tuesday - Saturday 12:00 - 3:00

Do you know me?

This sweet boy was found in the Fox Mountain area around August 24th. He is a neutered male who is microchipped, but unfortunately the chip was not properly registered. It's likely this chip was placed as part of a community event in the lower mainland a few years ago. He is a very nice boy but he is scared and desperately in search of his owners! If you recognize him please reach out to us at 250-392-2179
