Brought the kids to the The Standard LPGA Portland Classic and they had a blast at the First Tee - Oregon fun zone. Willow had some fun too. 😁 Our Fox Haven juniors having fun and connecting with other juniors. Can’t get much better than that.

🏆 IT’S CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TIME! ⛳

We’ve got TWO events coming up for our juniors, including a chance to team up with an adult for the Junior/Senior Championship!

JUNIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

⛳ Two 9-hole rounds
🕕 Tee times starting at 6 PM
💰 $20 registration
👥 Open to Junior Members & Junior League Members

And for our younger golfers, 12 & under will play from modified tees with shorter yardages. This is about giving our littles a chance to compete, have fun and experience their own Club Championship without the course being longer than it needs to be. 🙌

JUNIOR/SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
📅 August 30
⛳ 18 holes
🕚 Tee times starting at 11 AM
💰 $40 per team
👥 One partner must be a member, and that member can be either the junior OR the senior (adult).

Grab a partner and come play for the title! 🏆

Registration for both events is available at the clubhouse.

Three officers. Three different organizations. The same devastating mental health crisis.

Behind each uniform was a person. A colleague. A friend. Someone’s family. Someone who dedicated their life to serving others.

Different patches. Different agencies. The same loss.

We can talk about mental health. We can create policies, programs and wellness initiatives. But when mental health and wellness become boxes to check instead of commitments backed by meaningful action, we will continue to lose good people.

Three officers should make us stop and ask whether what we are doing is actually working.

I am proud to be part of Driving Foreward and the Alberta First Responders Association because we believe the person must come before the uniform.

People first. Mental health first.

To everyone still serving, retired, or carrying something behind the uniform that nobody else can see: your value has never been defined by your badge, your rank, your organization, or how much you can endure.

To the three officers we have lost, rest easy.

Different uniforms. One community. Three lives that mattered. ❤️💙

💔 An update for our up-coming fundraiser.

Our hearts go out to the families, colleagues, and everyone in the corrections community grieving the loss of two correctional officers who lost their lives in the line of duty today. It was a tragic accident during an inmate transfer from the Edmonton Institution for Women.

In light of this, all proceeds from our August 15 BBQ fundraiser at Peavey Mart in Spruce Grove will go directly to support the families of these fallen officers.

We're asking the community for help. If you're able to donate any of the following, it would mean everything:

🌭 Hot dogs & burgers
🍞 Buns
🧂 Condiments
🍽️ Plates & napkins

Pickup can be arranged for August 15, or reach Jerry directly:
📞 780-394-1578
📧 [email protected]

These officers protected our communities every single day. Now it's our turn to show up for them.

Everyone wants more distance.

But if your tempo is out of whack, swinging harder usually makes things worse.

If you’re falling back, pulling shots, catching it thin, or struggling to hold your finish, your swing might not need more speed. It might just need better rhythm.

A smooth tempo helps you find the middle of the clubface more often, improve your balance, and hit more consistent golf shots.

Sometimes the fastest way to lower your scores… is to slow down.

What’s one swing fault you’ve been battling this season? Let me know below. ⛳️

🌭 Hotdogs for a Purpose! 💗

Join us this Thursday during Ladies Night and help support our Junior Ambassador Program!

🌭 Hotdog & Pop Combo – $5
🍋 Pink Lemonade – $3

Every purchase helps us raise funds to bring youth from our northern communities to the CPKC Women’s Open as Junior Ambassadors, creating opportunities and experiences they’ll never forget.

Want to support the cause even more? We’ll also be accepting donations of any amount, with every dollar going directly to our Junior Ambassador Program.

A huge thank you to Kevin’s Independent Grocer for generously donating the hotdogs and drinks. Your support is helping us make a lasting impact on the lives of these young ambassadors.

Come hungry, bring a friend, and help us make a difference! ❤️
