To be named Remembrance Point, this unique spot at Green Cove on the Cabot Trail is an extension of the raw beauty and patriotic spirit of Cape Breton Island. This location will allow this living, fully interactive memorial to be the first to integrate state-of-the-art technology, stunning architecture and the breathtaking beauty of the Canadian Maritime landscape into a profound, cohesive commemorative experience. With the help and professional guidance of Parks Canada, the Never Forgotten National Memorial Foundation seeks to capture the spirit of this memorial while maintaining the deep, historical connection between the local communities and visitors to this stunning area of the Cabot Trail. Inspired and encouraged by numerous existing efforts to commemorate Our Fallen, this project will take its very own unique strides towards Honouring Canadian War Dead – Wherever They May Lie.
