The Mutual Aid meeting last Thursday night was well attended and received. Thank you to Madoc Township Fire, Chief Reid, and the representatives from the MTO for a great evening.
The next Mutual Aid meeting is Thursday September 24th, 7pm in Prince Edward County. Guest Speaker is representatives from JRCC.

Our Spring 2026 NFPA 1001 Firefighter 2 wrapped up today. What a fantastic couple of weekends with this dedicated and enthusiastic group. Lots of Auto Ex, Live Fire, and Fire Prevention activities to fill the days. Days that went by way too fast.
Congratulations all, and we hope to see you all again soon on other courses!!

What a fantastic group of firefighters taking NFPA 1002 Pump Operations. They are doing some math, flowing a lot of water, and having a great time growing and learning as a group.
Thanks for your commitment - spending 5 days at the "Tower" - and all the best as you move along your firefighting path.

This dedicated group spent the past 3 weekends away from their families to work through their Firefighter 1. A great time was had, stories shared, and skills learned. Congratulations and thanks for your time and commitment.

The bitter cold and piles of snow didn't slow down training for these dedicated firefighters. In February we hosted 3 courses: 1041 Fire Instructor 1 & 2, as well as the new 1030 First Responder Inspector. A lot of productive discussion, lesson plan development, and fire prevention skills were practiced and perfected. Great job everyone!

Attention Firefighters: Our 2026 Course calendar is up on the LMS portal (learning.ofm.ca). If you need anything for your mandatory certification - we are offering 2 each of: Firefighter 1, Firefighter 2, and HazMat Ops. We also have Officer and Instructor 1 & 2 on the books. Ice, Pump Ops, Auto Ex, ISO..... Lots going on this year. Log in, talk to your Chiefs and TO's, and get registered before they fill up.
