We're reaching out on behalf of the Tamil Canadian Centre for Civic Action. With the support of Social Planning Toronto, they are conducting a community consultation on the impacts of COVID-19 and pathways to rebuild and recover from the perspectives of Scarborough’s racialized communities. They are doing this via focus groups specifically meant for Scarborough Tamil residents, and a 10-minute online survey that can be completed by anyone.

This focus group is specifically targeted to Tamil residents of Scarborough over the age of 18, and will follow a guided discussion format. The discussion will be happening via Zoom, and participants will be compensated with a $20 honorarium for their time. These consultations will be this weekend and spots are limited, so any interested participants can visit tinyurl.com/TamilCOVID to register. Additionally, the COVID-19 Recovery Survey is accessible to anyone, and can be completed anytime at urbanalliance.ca/covid-survey.
