We are pleased to share that Phase 1 of the solar energy installation at Shahba Hospital has been successfully completed.

Thanks to your generous donations and the strong belief of our community in collective support, we have achieved the following:

Full solar energy support for:
- Emergency Department
- Emergency Intensive Care
- Sterilization Unit
- Packaging Unit
- Patient Reception Area
- Lighting for the Dialysis Department

Special thanks to the Suwayda Community Association in the United States (SAS) and the Suwayda Sustainable Association for their support in facilitating the financial processes.

سلطان باشا الأطرش واحدًا من أبرز رموز النضال في التاريخ العربي، وقائدًا استثنائيًا جسّد معنى الكرامة والحرية في أسمى صورها. لم يكن مجرد قائد عسكري، بل كان صوتًا للحق، وضميرًا حيًّا لشعبٍ رفض الخضوع، فقاد الثورة السورية الكبرى بروحٍ وطنية جامعة،

آمن سلطان باشا الأطرش بأن الحرية لا تُمنح، بل تُنتزع، وأن الكرامة لا تُساوَم. وقف في وجه الظلم والاستعمار بشجاعة نادرة، وجعل من جبل العرب منارةً للثوار، ومن اسمه رمزًا للصمود والعزيمة. لم يكن نضاله محصورًا في أرضٍ أو فئة، بل حمل قضية الإنسان الحر، أينما كان، وجعل من مقاومة الظلم مبدأً لا يتزعزع.

استجابةً للأحداث الأخيرة المتعلقة بزيارة للمدعو سليمان عبد الباقي من السويداء وادعائه تمثيل الطائفة المعروفية الدرزية، قمنا بالتعاون مع مجموعة من المنظمات الاجتماعية الدرزية بإرسال رسالة رسمية إلى الجهة المستضيفة للمدعو سليمان عبد الباقي،

طالبنا فيها بتصحيح المسمّى المستخدم بحقه، لما يحمله من تضليل وعدم دقة في تمثيل المجتمع الدرزي. كما سيتم إرسال رسالة مماثلة إلى الكونغرس الأمريكي، وذلك بالتنسيق مع الجمعيات والمنظمات الدرزية حول العالم، تأكيدًا على الموقف الموحد وحرصًا على عدم إساءة تمثيل الطائفة في أي محفل رسمي أو دولي.

In response to the recent events related to the visit of Sulayman Abdul Baqi from Suwayda and his claim of representing the Druze (Muwahhidun) community, we have, in coordination with a group of Druze social organizations, sent a formal letter to the hosting institution requesting a correction of the designation used in reference to him, as it is misleading and does not accurately reflect Druze community representation.

the talented artist from Suwayda who brought our community together with love
and revived the rich musical heritage of Suwayda through her heartfelt performance.
She was joined on stage by two talented artists from Suwayda, Aya Mhanna and Rahaf Al-Aqabani.

شباب وصبايا بيت الجبل أطلقوا حملة تبرعات لمدة 3 أيام فقط بهدف جمع 5,000 دولار وإرسالها إلى السويداء خلال أسبوع.

المبلغ سيُخصَّص لدعم ورشة لحياكة ملابس شتوية، وبذلك نساهم بتدفئة أهلنا في السويداء ونوفّر فرص عمل كريمة للسيدات هناك.

نودّ أن نشكر أهلنا في لندن على حفاوة الاستقبال التي قدّموها لأعضاء مجلس إدارة جمعية بيت الجبل.
كما نتقدّم بشكر خاص للسيدة ديانا عزّام ولجميع من ساهم في تنظيم هذا اللقاء.
كان هدف الاجتماع الاستماع إلى آراء أعضاء الجمعية ومناقشة سبل تطوير العمل المشترك بما يخدم مجتمعنا.

We would like to express our gratitude to our community in London for the warm welcome they extended to the members of the Beit El Jabal Board.
