My Voice in a Quilt
A collective exhibition of textile artworks handcrafted by newcomer Syrian women in Toronto.
Each quilt piece tells a story woven with emotion, memory, and hope.
Together, they create a shared tapestry of resilience, connection, and beauty.
This exhibition presents a collective artwork of quilts created by newcomer Syrian women in Toronto. Each quilt is composed of individual pieces, every piece handcrafted by one woman, reflecting her emotions, memories, and personal story. The quilts serve as a space for storytelling and emotional expression, where women gather to share, support one another, and transform their lived experiences into art.
Join us on November 9 in Toronto to witness these stories in fabric, meet the makers, and stand with a community weaving healing and hope.

معرض جماعي لأعمال نسيجية من صناعة نساء سوريات وافدات إلى تورونتو.
كل قطعة لحاف تروي حكاية منسوجة بالعاطفة والذاكرة والأمل.
معاً، تصنع هذه الأعمال نسيجاً مشتركاً من الصمود والتواصل والجمال.
يقدّم هذا المعرض عملاً فنياً جماعياً من الألحفة التي أبدعتها نساء سوريات وافدات إلى تورونتو. يتكوّن كل لحاف من قطع فردية، كل قطعة صنعتها امرأة واحدة تعبّر عن مشاعرها وذكرياتها وحكايتها الشخصية. تُشكّل الألحفة مساحةً للحكي والتعبير، تلتقي فيها النساء ليتشاركن الدعم ويحوّلن تجاربهنّ الحياتية إلى فن.
انضمّوا إلينا في 9 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر في تورونتو لتشهدوا هذه الحكايات المنسوجة، وتلتقوا بصانعاتها، وتؤازروا مجتمعًا ينسج التعافي والأمل.
