It's Bee Time in Serena Gundy 🐝
With paek summer weather comes luscious blooms and many pollinator species anxious to get some pollen for their colonies. Pictured below are some bee balm plants with bees buzzing and loving this sweet smelling native blossom.

We strive to protect these environments at Serena Gundy to encourage native plants to flourish.

Meet us tomorrow for a productive stewarding session in the morning. We'll be meeting at the SW corner of Parking Lot 3 in Sunnybrook Park, and working on removing Dog-Strangling Vine before it comes to seed.
Below is an image of the stretch of the Don River we manage, taken by one of our volunteers. It's an important space that many plants and animals call home, which is our goal to ensure is healthy and well taken care of.
