Egumeni

Egumeni If you are a woman, a child or a youth, and you would like to hear more about our programs, please send us an email or a message.

We serve communities in Botswana, South Africa or Zimbabwe. Women and youth development and empowerment is our goal! Egumeni Business Communities has been successful in coordinating the Partnerships of at least five women and youth business groups in South Africa and Zimbabwe. In South Africa we have three women's groups, namely Milidzani Maboko Bakadzi, Tswaranang Matsoho Basadi and Ngatijatane T

obanakazi. In Zimbabwe we have successfully coordinated two business groups, namely a youth group in Beula Seula communal areas in Khezi rural district, which was our pilot program in April of 2019 and we recently lauched the successful coordination of a women's business Partnership group in Nketa Township, Bulawayo. Our primary objective for our business formations is to encourage the entrepreneurs to focus in operating production and manufacturing companies that will use locally found raw materials. We want our business women and youth to be employment creators in their own rights and to think of retailing their own products first before imports. This is our way of building self sustaining communities with strong economic roots that are locally based yet able to and trading both locally, nationally and internationally. Our ultimate goal is to create businesses whose primary market is the communities in which they are set up. A network of such businesses in a particular community would eventually generate profits to fund activities and other needs of that community, such as:

a) teenagers social activities and education
b) public health and public spaces
c) public transport
d) senior citizens
