🎉❤️ What an Incredible Result! ❤️🎉

With gratitude and pure excitement, we are thrilled to announce that together we were able to donate $𝟮𝟳,𝟬𝟴𝟳.𝟭𝟱 to the Children’s Foundation of Muskoka!

This donation represents so much more than a number—it reflects the generosity, kindness, and community spirit of every person who supported our efforts…. Whether it was a Christmas tree drop off, help setting up, showing up and saying “I’m here”, tin-foiling stars, a silent auction donation, sponsorship, or ticket purchase… Because of 𝘆𝗼𝘂, local children and families will have access to programs, resources, and opportunities that help them thrive.

I am truly humbled by the support I receive each and every year when MOM PROM planning rolls around. It’s so inspiring to be a part of what can happen when a community comes together for a meaningful cause.

What a night. What a community. What a village.

As we close out another incredible MOM PROM, my heart is absolutely full. 💛

I’m still revelling in the unbelievable outfits, the energy & moves that kept the dance floor alive all night long, and just the overall kindness / good spirited / and dare-I-say “girl power” vibe that was electric throughout the event.

Every single person who showed up - be it during the set up, tear down, or event - helped make “Christmas in May” something truly special *and sparkly*.

To our sponsors: thank you for believing in this event and investing in our community.

To our volunteers: … including the lovingly “voluntold” family members and friends who got pulled into setup, cleanup, hauling, decorating, organizing, and everything in between - THANK YOU. Events like this don’t happen without the people willing to jump in wherever needed. You are seen, you are appreciated, you know who you are!

To everyone who donated trees, prizes, time, resources, talents, laughter, encouragement, and love: THANK YOU for helping me grow MOM PROM into something bigger and better each and every year.

A HUGE thank you to all the incredible local businesses who donated to the MOM PROM 2026 Silent Auction and Raffle Table. This community truly showed up in the most magical way, and I am blown away by the generosity.

It takes a village y’all.

Another big shout out to all those who contributed to MOM PROM this year - be it through financial support, hands on/volunteer time, donations, food, beverage, and event day services.

THANK YOU.

MiND-AID plays a crucial role in System Navigation, assisting our local youth in finding and connecting with the services, resources, and care they need to thrive.

FUNDING CHALLENGES
MiND-AID does not have long-term guaranteed funding from the government or other sources. This means that every dollar used to pay staff and manage operations comes from donations, grants, and fundraising efforts.

Currently, MiND-AID is serving over 1,000 young people in Muskoka with only two full-time and two part-time staff members to support all these efforts!

IT’S BECAUSE OF YOU and all the efforts behind MOM PROM that MiND-AID will be able to:

• Hire Additional Staff = faster service + more engagement within the community to spread the word about services

• Therapy Costs: Funding is allocated for young people to access specialized private therapists when free services do not meet their needs

• Basic Necessities: Supporting food security, hygiene, and homelessness supplies for young people struggling to secure essential items.

• Program Operations: Covering supplies, fuel, drivers, and maintenance costs for our Mobile Youth Wellness Hub.

• Administrative Expenses: Necessary costs such as phones, insurance, a secure client database system, internet access, and accounting services.

The Impact is HUGE. The need is HUGE and GROWING.
