We’re proud of our long-standing partnership with the University of Guelph-Humber! Many of our incredible placement students have come from their Community Social Services program, bringing passion, skills, and fresh perspectives to our work.

Rexdale Women’s Centre was proud to participate in the Partner Agency Conference hosted by North York Harvest Food Bank, bringing together organizations that support food access in our communities.

At RWC, we know strong partnerships help us better meet the needs of the people we serve. Together with its network of partner agencies, North York Harvest Food Bank helps more than 30,000 people access food each month.

We are proud to be part of this collective effort to build a stronger, healthier community.

Are you a high school student looking to complete your community service hours?

Join the Rexdale Women's Centre volunteer team and gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional environment while making a meaningful impact in your community. Volunteers have the opportunity to develop new skills, build their resumes, and connect with others through rewarding experiences.

Current volunteer opportunities may include:
• Event Support
• Administrative Assistance
• Community Outreach
• Program Support
• Summer Camp Support

Eligibility: Students currently enrolled in Grades 10-12.

To apply, complete our online application form at rexdalewomen.org/volunteer (link in bio). Applicants must also be available to attend our Volunteer Orientation and Training on July 3, 2026, at 21 Panorama Court, Room 23.

Participants delve into topics such as parenting, infant growth and development, and the introduction of solid foods. The Eating for Two program, occurring every Wednesday from 9:30am to 11am at Rexdale Community Health Centre in partnership with Rexdale Women’s Centre, is designed for pregnant mothers and their supports. Attendees receive guidance on labour, delivery, exercise, and emotional well-being, along with nutrition sessions, food demonstrations, and breastfeeding support. Questions can be addressed by a Registered Nurse, Dietitian, and Community Liaison Worker. Additionally, participants enjoy complimentary snacks, TTC fares, grocery cards, and prenatal vitamins.
