Volunteer Planning for Large-Scale Events: Ensuring a Smooth Volunteer Experience at Multi-Site & Multi-Day Events with Alexandra Cherry happening on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026 at 12 PM ET

Learning Outcomes:
• Planning for a positive volunteer experience when you're not the point of contact
• Setting expectations for the experience (volunteers, your team, etc.)
• How to establish cross-departmental buy-in when thinking on a large scale.

This presentation will aim to answer the following questions: How can you seek to ensure a positive volunteer experience, when you will likely never meet many of the volunteers who have committed to your program? What are the logistical barriers to a positive volunteer experience for all involved in a one-off or yearly event?
