Webinar: Presenting the 2024 Newfoundland and Labrador Child & Family Poverty Report Card
Thursday, February 26th 10am-11amNST on Zoom

Join us for an important webinar as we present and explore the 2024 Newfoundland and Labrador Child and Family Poverty Report Card. Developed in partnership with the Jimmy Pratt Foundation, Choices for Youth, and the Community Sector Council NL, this annual report provides a comprehensive snapshot of child and family poverty across our province — grounded in rigorous data, front-line insights, and voices of lived experience.

During this session, we’ll walk through key findings — including trends in poverty among children and families, highlight recent policy interventions, and the realities of housing and food insecurity affecting families — and discuss what these mean for our communities, organizations, and systems of support.

This webinar is a space to learn, reflect, and connect on:
What the data tells us about child and family poverty in Newfoundland and Labrador
How local initiatives and government strategies are influencing outcomes
Where gaps persist and opportunities lie for community action and collaboration
Questions & discussion with presenters and partners
