It was an evening of glamour and a celebration of multiculturalism at the CMC Asian Heritage Awards Gala! Representatives from different countries across Asia gathered together in their traditional cultural attire to showcase the uniqueness of their country of origin.

The event was attended by dignitaries of all levels of government including the Senate, Federal, Provincial, Municipal and Consulate. Members of the Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation (PCCF) included president Rosemer Enverga, PCCF officers including Lita Leano, Gloria Rafanan, Noemi Milanes, Ronic Hernandez, Tony Leano, Philip Rafanan and our Mrs. Philippines Canada Arlene Pacana and Greatchen Griffiths.

A highlight of the evening was the recognition of outstanding community leaders nominated by CMC member organizations. PCCF was proud to nominate Michaelangelo Masangkay, a Toronto-based film producer with over 20 years of experience in the industry. A true trailblazer, he has been instrumental in promoting Filipino culture through film and media. Michaelangelo graciously accepted the award alongside his wife, Jean.

Congratulations to all the awardees and to the CMC! Wishing you all much success!

PCCF Visits the PCCF-ANCOP Village

As one of several stops during PCCF’s annual visit to the Philippines last February, members of the Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation (PCCF) visited the PCCF–ANCOP Village in Tala, Caloocan. The village is home to more than 30 families affected by leprosy and is also the site of the Senator Tobias Enverga Jr. Multipurpose Hall, built in memory of PCCF’s founder.

Residents of the village welcomed PCCF with warmth and kidness—an experience the group will cherish for years to come. The vibrant energy and heartfelt stories shared during the visit left a lasting impression that will continue to resonate with PCCF well into the future. PCCF handed out care packages to residents and were given a tour of the village.

The PCCF delegation was led by PCCF President Rosemer Enverga and was joined by the Pageants with a Cause entourage, featuring Princess Salandino (Miss Philippines Canada 2025), Charisma Toupin (Miss Teen Philippines Canada 2025), Andrea Penaverde (Miss Philippines Canada Runner-Up), Scarlett Ubaldo (Little Miss Philippines Canada Runner-Up), and Syrille Guzman (Miss Philippines Canada candidate).

Thank you so very much!
