Orillia Heritage Centre

Orillia Heritage Centre We are a group of volunteers who strive to commemorate and celebrate Orillia’s industrial history.

Our core artifacts are running examples of some key motorized vehicles from Orillia’s past that we make available for parades, public displays / exhibits and special events.

Big News has obtained a 2005 calendar featuring a 1917 photograph of a Fisher automobile manufactured in Orillia in 1914. Although the caption identifies it as a Tudhope car, the radiator badge clearly displays the name Fisher. The Orillia Heritage Centre is currently restoring what is believed to be the last remaining Fisher car.
