💙 Thank You, Filipino Renal Nurses of Ontario (FRNAO) 💙

On behalf of GK Canada, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Filipino Renal Nurses of Ontario (FRNAO) for their generous donation in support of disaster relief efforts for the victims of Typhoon Kalmaegi in Cebu, Philippines.

The donation was formally presented to GK Canada Board of Directora Gizele Mirasol and Gene Elamparo, demonstrating FRNAO’s continued commitment to humanitarian service and compassion for our kababayans affected by the devastating flash floods on November 3, 2025, which resulted in widespread destruction and loss of lives.

• Arcilen Tejano, FRNAO President
• Aurora Elefano, FRNAO Founding President
• Sonia Balinas, Incoming FRNAO Dinner and Dance Fundraising Campaign Chairman for 2026

Your generosity and leadership truly reflect the spirit of bayanihan. Together, we are bringing hope, relief, and support to families as they begin the journey of recovery.

Our Story

Not for Profit Corporation. Gawad Kalinga Canada (GKC) was formed in October 6, 2010 as a federally incorporated not for profit corporation with charitable registration number 8415 83917 RR0001. Its premier project, the One Canada Project, aims to consolidate Canada-solicited resources to a few selected beneficiary communities at a time so that the delivery of benefits is not too thinly spread over too-many recipient communities.

Our Mission. To build sustainable and inclusive partnerships with strong commitment to accountability, transparency, and responsiveness by engaging all sectors of society. GKC shall build partnerships with the following: - GK Community Development Foundation, Inc. (GKCDFI) as the implementor and administrator of poverty alleviation projects, - Benefactors who make available to us financial, material and intangible resources, and - Volunteers who donate their time, talent and skills

82 Canadian Villages. GK Canada has sponsored 82 villages (20-30 homes per village) through donations from corporations and various groups.

GK villages supported by Canadians are scattered throughout the Philippines.
