Federally Incorporated Non-Profit NGO dedicated to improving the lives of women, children, youths in Canada, Africa, and other Third World Countries. Our motto is: Voice of the Voiceless. The Mission of the Kay Morris Foundation (KMF) is:
To help bridge the gap of sickness and poverty to deprived children and pregnant women, by offering resources in the prevention and awareness of HIV/AIDS, Mater
nal Mortality and Malaria; by providing preventative education, basic medical supplies, clothes, toiletries, and school supplies, for a healthier society throughout our communities, Canada, and the Nation of Africa. Corporations Canada Pre-Approved Objectives of the Kay Morris Foundation (KMF) are:
To relieve poverty in developing nations by providing food and other basic supplies to persons in need. To develop or promote public health in developing nations by educating and instructing the public on prevention of, and curative measures for, health problems and by researching and documenting changes in the health of the community. The Vision of the Kay Morris Foundation (KMF) is:
We envision a world where poverty will be eradicated, and at-risk children are nourished and not malnourished; food is a basic human right. Youths in vulnerable communities will have an opportunity to become leaders; women will not miscarry because of poor nutritional health; and people living in vulnerable communities will not have fast foods as their first choice, but they will have full access to fresh, healthy nutritious food that is readily available in their communities. We envision a world where at-risk people will have food security. KMF is making great impact in at-risk marginalized communities in The Region of Peel, Toronto, and other GTA areas. Through our Meals In Motion Program, we partner with the Knights Table in Brampton and feed hundreds of homeless people annually. We also donate hot meals, clothing, and toiletries to refugees and homeless people living in encampments in Mississauga. KMF is addressing food insecurity in marginalized communities. In 2022, we received funding from the Second Harvest and Government of Canada and ran a very successful Grocery Gift-Card Program which benefited single mothers, youths, seniors, low-income families who are struggling to make ends meet. We donated hot meals to at-risk youths in group homes and youth shelters in The Region of Peel, Toronto, and other GTA areas. Through KMF Tools 2 Learn initiative, we donate back-packs, school supplies, books and educational materials to elementary and high school children/youths in marginalized communities to help enable and enhance their education and learning abilities. KMF rescues non-perishable food and toiletries on the Second Harvest App and distribute them to people in the marginalized communities.
