Behind every missionary serving on the field is a team working behind the scenes to make that ministry possible.

Today we're highlighting the Operational Support Fund (OSF), one of the three funds that make up the African Missionary Fund.

This fund helps keep the mission moving by supporting the essential administrative work that allows missionaries to receive consistent, reliable support.

✔ Stewarding donations with integrity and accountability
✔ Tracking and reporting on funds
✔ Communicating with donors and partners
✔ Building capacity to serve more missionaries and communities

We believe donations intended for missionaries should reach missionaries. That's why operational costs are supported through a separate fund.

While it may not be as visible as ministry on the front lines, this work is vital. Strong systems, faithful stewardship, and clear communication create the foundation that allows missionaries to focus on the work God has called them to do.

When you give to the Operational Support Fund, you're investing in the infrastructure that strengthens partnerships, supports missionary families, and helps advance the Gospel across Africa.

Together, we can build a strong foundation for lasting Kingdom impact.

Rift Valley Academy in Kijabe, Kenya exists to enable missionary families to serve across Africa, discipling, educating their children toward their God given potential in Christ. Staff needs for the 2026–2027 school year include: a full-time child safety coordinator, high school, head of school, and physical therapist. Might you be an answer to prayer?

Sometimes ministry begins with a simple invitation.

"Would you teach us English?"

For the M family serving among Arab and Swahili communities on the Kenyan Coast, that invitation became a doorway to deeper relationships and Gospel conversations.

Since last October, God has opened new opportunities to engage their community. M now teaches English to a group of Muslim women, participates in a Bible study with a woman seeking to learn more about Jesus, and helps facilitate mental health classes alongside a teammate.

These opportunities are answers to prayer.

The African Missionary Fund came at a time when the family was feeling stretched by both personal and ministry needs. The support helped relieve financial pressure, allowing them to focus more fully on the ministry opportunities God was placing before them.

Today, they are seeing new doors open and new relationships forming within their community.

Praise God for His faithfulness and for the ways He continues to work through those who faithfully serve.

In 2025, the saw HUGE growth. Here are some of the numbers.

The numbers tell a remarkable story:
· 2023: You supported 24 adults with 27 children
· 2024: You supported 129 adults with 95 children
· 2025: You supported 188 adults with 170 children

That represents 684% growth in adult participation and 530% growth in children served, a total
growth rate of 602% in just three years across four mission agencies in Africa.

AMF enabled African missionaries to continue their vital work among unreached communities and for that we praise God!

🌍❤️ Because every person matters to God.

The family in your neighbourhood matters.

The unreached community thousands of kilometres away matters.

The student searching for purpose matters.

The village hearing the Gospel for the first time matters.

God's love is not limited by borders, languages, or cultures.

When churches embrace both local and global missions, they reflect the full scope of God's heart—a heart that seeks people nearby and far away.

We don't have to choose between caring for our community and caring about the nations.

God calls us to do both.

And when we do, we become part of a story much bigger than ourselves.

💬 Many Wolof people have never had the opportunity to hear a clear presentation of the Gospel from someone they know and trust.

For those who choose to follow Christ, family rejection and social pressure can be significant challenges.
Yet God knows every Wolof community. Every family. Every story.

He is already at work, drawing people to Himself through relationships, Scripture, and the faithful witness of believers.

🙏 Pray for courage and perseverance for the small number of Wolof Christians who are sharing Christ among their own people.

The African Missionary Fund's Spend Down Fund (TSD) exists to provide immediate support for African missionaries facing urgent needs. Unlike our investment-based funds, donations to the Spend Down Fund are distributed directly, allowing resources to reach missionaries quickly when they need them most.

✔ Immediate distribution of funds
✔ Faster response to urgent needs
✔ Direct support for missionaries on the field
✔ Flexibility in changing circumstances

In today's economic climate, missionaries often face unexpected challenges that require immediate assistance. The Spend Down Fund helps ensure that financial barriers don't prevent them from continuing the work God has called them to do.

Your gift can make an impact right now—providing timely support to those faithfully serving among unreached peoples across Africa.

A.A. Shares: "I’ve served among Somalis for the last six years in Kisenyi-Kampala. Since 2020 I struggled financially and could barely meet even my most basic needs like rent, food, and clothing. I was always on the edge financially and barely crossing through each month up until last year’s quarter when I started receiving AMF () funding. I was constantly stressed, discouraged and anxious as I didn’t know where the money for paying bills would come from or how I would meet my other personal needs.

When I started receiving AMF funding in last year’s quarter, I was so relieved of the extreme financial pressure, stress and anxiety I had been facing for the last few years in the mission field because it enabled me to pay my monthly rent on time and meet some of my basic needs too. I also served more joyfully and was greatly encouraged in my work because my personal needs were being catered for through the funding."

When missionaries aren't consumed by concerns about survival, they are freed to invest more fully in the work God has called them to do.

Thank you for helping make stories like this possible.
