We provide school assemblies which are a one-hour interactive presentation for grade 3 – 12 with youth speakers who share their personal stories in overcoming challenges with bullying, mental health and addiction. Students hear powerful messages of self acceptance, respect, responsibility and positive choices as well, relevant information on the specific topic and an opportunity for questions. Sch

Your mental health deserves daily care, even in small ways.

Try one of these today:
🧠 Take 5 deep breaths before checking your phone.
🚶 Stretch for 5 minutes
💧 Drink a glass of water and eat something nourishing.
💬 Check in with someone you care about—or with yourself.

Remember: Progress isn't about being perfect. Small, consistent actions can make a meaningful difference over time.

The summer season is a great time to improve your mental wellbeing. Here are 3 tips our team at Youthspeak uses that can help you this summer!

🚰 Stay Hydrated! The heat can be hard to handle without water! Bring a water bottle with you especially during heat waves!

😴 Prioritize Sleep Hygiene! Summer is a great time to reset sleeping habits! Having a bed time routine and reducing screen time an hour before bed will help you get a restful sleep!

🌞 Spend Time In The Sun! The sun provides us all with light and Vitamin D, which can help with your mood! Take some time out each day to get some rays - but protect your skin with sunscreen!

Today, we honour and celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of the many Indigenous Peoples across this land. 🧡

National Indigenous Peoples Day is a time to learn, reflect, and recognize the resilience, strength, and voices of Indigenous communities—past, present, and future.

Let’s continue to listen, uplift Indigenous voices, and commit to meaningful action toward truth and reconciliation.

If you or someone you know needs mental health support, there are culturally specific resources available to you. You are not alone.
