We are saddened to share the news of the passing of Dr. Robert Graham Leigh. Rob will be remembered for his extraordinary contributions to Canadian philately and the generosity and kindness he showed to fellow collectors. He will be sorely missed.

He was 61. Born in Chatham, Ont., on April 23, 1964, Rob developed a p...

Let your voice be heard! Participate in a survey about the future of philately, organized by the Fédération québécoise de philatélie

This initiative represents a significant investment from the organizations supporting it, with a clear objective: to better understand the current situation of philately in Canada and to identify concrete actions for the next five years.

Broad participation is essential. The results of this consultation will help strengthen our hobby and, in the long term, contribute to the vitality and value of philatelic collections.

All collectors, as well as anyone interested in philately — even non-collectors, are invited to register using the link below in order to receive the questionnaire.

New Eid stamps, out now.

New Eid stamps, out now.

Get ready to celebrate Eid with our newest stamps!

For centuries, Muslim artists, architects and mathematicians across the Islamic world have developed and refined intricate geometric patterns that exemplify the principles of unity, precision and order.

These dazzling designs, which adorn everything from architecture to ceramics, continue to bring beauty and symbolism to homes and communities throughout Ramadan and Eid.

The three stamps in this issue are based on the same pattern presented in three distinct colour palettes.

The design integrates stylized maple leaves, a symbol of Canadian identity, into an Islamic geometric pattern to reflect the cultural diversity and inclusivity of Canada and to celebrate the significance of Eid for Muslim communities across the country.

Eid stamps are on sale now! https://bit.ly/3N8GPFQ

Special thanks to our experts who guided the design process:
Dr. Fahmida Suleman, senior curator, Islamic World, Royal Ontario Museum
Dr. Anver M. Emon, director, Institute of Islamic Studies, University of Toronto
