This past Thursday UJA Israel Engagement, Moishe House Christie and IPF Atid for a pub night with Dr. Amelia Weinreb and Rabbi Joe Schwartz. Dr. Weinreb is a cultural anthropologist and lecturer at NYU Tel Aviv known for her extensive research in citizen-state building. Rabbi Schwartz is recognized for his innovative contributions to Jewish education and community building. As the Director of Makom, he focuses on developing new models of Israel and Jewish people hood education. We were excited to bring this great conversation and opportunity to our community!
