Global Wildlife Warriors - Greece

Global Wildlife Warriors - Greece A VOICE FOR THE VOICELESS
DEFENDING THE DEFENCELESS Fauna in Greece is extremely diverse.

Global Wildlife Warriors - Greece will be focusing on wildlife and other animals in Greece, as well as gradually introducing its members to the many wonderful Greek animal defenders who are tirelessly working to save precious lives. Wolves, bears, wild cats, squirrels, jackals, foxes, deer, lynxes and many other species roam the mountainous areas and forests of Greece. Rare species like the kri-kr

i, previously considered a subspecies of wild goat and also known as the Cretan goat, Agrimi or Cretan Ibex, inhabits the Eastern Mediterranean. The kri-kri is now only found on the island of Crete and three small islands just offshore - Dia, Thodorou and Agioi Pantes. More than 400 bird species have been recorded in Greece, of which a great percentage is migratory.
