🩷 Your mind matters, and so does the care you give yourself. Mental health looks different for everyone, and there is no one “right” way to navigate the difficult days. This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re reminding our community to make space for compassion, connection, open conversations, and asking for support when it’s needed. 🌷✨

Be gentle with yourself and with one another. You never know what someone may be carrying. 🤍

❤️ Today, October 4, we honour the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit people, and hold their families, loved ones, Survivors, and communities in our hearts.

We acknowledge the ongoing and disproportionate violence experienced by Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people, and stand alongside those continuing to call for safety, justice, accountability, and meaningful change.

Today and every day, we remember. We honour. We listen. We amplify Indigenous voices. And we stand in solidarity with families and communities demanding action. ❤️

No one should be forgotten. Every life deserves safety, dignity, and justice.

🩷 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This month, we honour those living with breast cancer, celebrate survivors, remember those we have lost, and hold space for the families and loved ones walking alongside them. May this month be a reminder of the importance of awareness, early detection, compassion, and community. To everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer, we see you and stand with you. 🎀🤍✨

💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This month, we honour survivors, remember those whose lives have been impacted by violence, and continue the conversation about what it means to create safer communities. At Julliette’s Place, we believe everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, heard, and empowered to make choices for their own life. Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing information, resources, and reminders that support awareness, understanding, and hope. 🤍✨

🧡 Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour the children who never returned home, Survivors of residential schools, their families, and Indigenous communities. Reconciliation is more than a single day; it asks us to listen, learn, reflect, and carry that knowledge forward in the ways we show up for Indigenous peoples and communities. Swipe through for a few ways to observe today with intention. 🧡 Every Child Matters.

Indigenous women deserve to live safely and free from violence. 💜 The disproportionate rates of intimate partner violence experienced by Indigenous women are more than statistics—they represent women, families, and communities. By continuing to learn, listen, raise awareness, and support culturally safe resources, we can all be part of creating safer communities. 🤍✨
