Meet Ratna.

“The Oxford dictionary has the word ‘’Ecofreak’’ which defines me better than my name. My story begins from being a 9-year-old activist roaring from the school stage for youth empowerment to becoming the founder of an international organization, . Earth Safety Valve works for environmental conservation and sustainable development. It has a team of youth from 15+ nations and 5 continents and has been featured on the same NEWS channels.

I am a United Nations Youth Constituency Member, and I am studying for a Bachelors in Environmental Science from Delhi University. Being an Environmentalist, I have taken education as a tool to create awareness. I’ve done climate strikes in cities, street art, written letters to PM’s, undertaken clean-up drives, plog walks, conducted international seminars, workshops, interviewed many environmental scientists. In addition, I have created a Climate Comic entitled “I Can’t Breathe”, which was presented at the COP’27, exploring the theme of the Chronology of Climate Change.

To date me & my young team has been able to impact 50K students from all over the world. Known for Public Speaking & content writing skills, I’ve been awarded with eight-trophies in inter-school debate competitions, Published 13 Articles and yet recipient of many-awards, like Most-Active Student, Best-Speaker Awards, Best-Female Author Award, Indian Inspiro Award, Kalam's Ratna Award, Young Climate-Campaigner and National-Poet. Being the author of five books, co-author of six, and researcher on women harassment which was accepted by 98% of women, I’m honoured as both a National and World Record Holder, and have been interviewed by the National-Global Media(s) for the same.”
The was created to gather and amplify youth voices like Ratna’s. What’s your giant quote? Submit yours today! 🔗 in bio.

Get to know .uplift! Visit our IG stories to watch the full takeover.

GlobeUplift aims to bring youth together from different paths of life in the hopes of creating a better future for all. Their team of passionate individuals is keen to contribute to society by bringing environmental, social, and economic issues to light. To GlobeUplift, citizenship is not only a reflection of one's nationality but also an effort to empower those around them.

GlobeUplift was founded by Ish*ta Pai Raikar, a freshman at North Carolina State University. She started the organization to awaken the passion and dedication within youth to address intertwined environmental, social, and economic issues. She believes old ways are not going to open new doors for us- therefore in the presence of VUCA, change needs to be cultivated as part of our culture. In her belief, COVID-19 truly came as a disruption disguised as a pause - a pause to rethink our universal values and an opportunity to implement solutions before it's too late.

Step 3 – Communication

Today we are excited to release the third post of A Giant’s Journey, a leadership blog by our Giant Ambassador, Madeleine Goutor.

Learn with Madeleine as she shares with us her five giant steps on the path towards becoming a leader, starting with participation, followed by collaboration, and today communication.

“A huge part of being a leader is knowing how to communicate. When you are communicating, you are representing yourself and the people you work with. You also need to remember that communication is not just about what you say, but also how to say it.”

Meet Erin Goold, a student and screenwriter. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Today we are excited to release the fourth episode of ‘Conversations with Giants of Tomorrow,’ a YouTube series by our Giant Ambassador, Amelia Agrawal.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Erin: Many people describe others as being "natural leaders", but I don't so much believe in that as I do the fact that anyone can be a leader if they are passionate about something and want to spread that passion to others. I truly think that no matter how quiet or introverted someone is, if they feel strongly about a certain topic, want to it teach others, and share it around the world, that they absolutely can.⁣⁣

Meet Laura Hermitage, founder of .

Today we are excited to release the third episode of ‘Conversations with Giants of Tomorrow,’ a YouTube series by our Giant Ambassador, Amelia Agrawal.

Laura: Being a giant is about listening, learning, and adapting. A giant knows that they don’t have all the answers, but by observing and being open, they can find creative solutions to make an impact. Through Braided, I found a way to bring together kids looking for ways to create change from home for charities facing increased demand due to COVID-19.
