The Tofield/Ryley/Beaver County West Christmas Hamper program is now open to accept intake applications for a hamper.

If you are in need of a hamper, please kindly contact the Tofield/Beaver County West FCSS office at 780-662-7067 or 780-662-7066 so we may assist you. The deadline to apply for a Christmas Hamper is December 4, 2026.

**Please note, Angel Trees will be placed in the Tofield and Ryley post offices on our about November 12th (after Remembrance Day). **

We are pleased to welcome Julie Matthews, who will facilitate an informative Scam and Fraud Awareness Presentation. Learn how to recognize common scams, protect yourself, your loved ones, and stay one step ahead of fraudsters.

Everyone is welcome! Please join us for this important and informative presentation on October 14th at the Tofield Golden Club. The presentation starts at 9:00am and doors open at 8:45am. There is no cost to attend, but we kindly ask that you call to let us know you are attending, so we have enough refreshments on hand.

Today, we take time to recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

It is an opportunity to learn, recognize, and reflect on the history of residential schools and the trauma experienced by many.

Reconciliation is an ongoing journey, and each of us has a role to play in building a future grounded in understanding, respect, and meaningful relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people.

🧡 Join Us for a National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Family Event 🧡

The Tofield Municipal Library warmly invites you and your family to join us on Wednesday, September 30th from 2:00–4:00 PM as we come together to learn, reflect, remember, and honour the importance of Truth and Reconciliation.

Our family-friendly event will include:

🧡 Programs and informational resources for children and adults
🧡 Authentic Indigenous food, including bannock
🧡 Informational and display tables
🧡 Orange Shirt apparel
🧡 Prize raffles

We are honoured to be partnering with the Four Winds Women’s Indigenous Group from Tofield and Tofield/Beaver County West FCSS to bring this meaningful event to our community.

We hope you’ll consider joining us as we acknowledge this important day together and begin what we hope will become an annual Truth and Reconciliation event at the Tofield Municipal Library.
